Manage your files

The file library stores the files you upload and the files RealAI creates. Files are saved automatically, and you can organize them into folders. Your file library is private, so only you can see it.

To open your file library, click Files in the left sidebar.

Upload files

You can upload files straight to your library without including them in an analysis.

  1. Click Upload.
  2. Drag and drop your files into the window, or click browse to select files from your computer.
  3. Click Save.

Each file can be up to 100 MB. Supported file types are .html, .htm, .xlsx, .xltx, .xls, .csv, .xlsm, .json, .txt, .md, .docx, .doc, .pptx, .ppt, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .svg, and .pdf.

To upload a file into a folder, open the folder and click Upload. The file is saved in that folder.

Find your files

Use the search bar, the file type dropdown, and the sort dropdown to find a file or change the order of your list. The filters at the top of the page narrow your list:

  • All: Every file in your library
  • Uploaded: Files you uploaded
  • AI Created: Files RealAI created

Organize files in folders

Files that aren’t in a folder, including files you upload from the main library page, appear under Files.

To create a folder, click New Folder in the upper-right corner, or click the plus sign next to My Folders in the files sidebar, then name the folder.

To move one file into a folder, click the three-dot menu next to the file name, select Move to folder..., select the folder, and click Move here.

To move several files at once, select the checkbox next to each file, or click Select all. Then click Move to folder... at the top right, select the folder, and click Move here.

Rename or delete a folder

You can rename or delete a folder by selecting the folder and then clicking the three-dot menu next to the folder name. When you delete a folder, the files in it move to Files. They aren’t deleted.

Use files in an analysis

When you start a new analysis, you can attach files from your library or upload them from your computer.

  1. In the analysis box, click the paperclip icon.
  2. Choose how to add files:
    • Select from files: Select the checkbox next to each file you want to attach. To attach every file in Files or a folder, click Select all. Click the eye icon to preview a file first.
    • Upload New: Upload files from your computer. Files you upload this way are also saved to your library.
  3. Click Attach.

Use files in scheduled agents

When you schedule an agent, you can attach reference files or reference a folder so every run can read them. For steps, see Schedule an agent.
